Yoga for Pregnancy
Don't just go through it ... GROW through it.
Practicing Yoga during pregnancy is gentle and safe; you will practice deep relaxation, relieving tension and energising the whole body.
You will develop body awareness so that you learn to listen and trust your body asyour body develops. It can help you to approach labour and birth with more confidence.
The gentle exercise is very beneficial. Hormones are released during prgnancy that help to increase the body's flexibility. Learning to work gently with these natural changes helps both and youy and your baby.
It can correct and maintain a good posture protectiong your back and creating space for your baby.
Some of the postures practiced in claas are particularly suitable for labour and giving birth.
The class will help you to develop breath awareness and breath control and the breathing practices taught will complement the techniques at antenatal classes.
